self promotional catalogue

As a way of better marketing myself, I created a catalogue that shows who I am and what I do. I wanted to do something that showed my creativity and let my personality shine through, and I think this project does just that

brand guide

Despite my outgoing and enthusiastic personality, I tend to gravitate towards more neutral or muted colors when designing things for my personal life. I find that most brands use eye catching intense colors, but I wanted something unusual and earthy, to contrast the modern and sleek design I usually love.

resume & business card

Pretty self explanatory. I like the two-column structure of this layout, as it allows me to present more information than a normal resume without sacrificing the organization or symmetry.

logo description

Again, I wanted to use this project to experiment with unusual uses of space and font. My formatting was inspired by poetry books, as the asymmetrical method of line breaks has always stuck out to me as a beautifully way to format type.

As a more fun way of spreading my name around, I thought it would be interesting to make a few poster-sized business cards. When printed, they are 24x36 inches.

I wanted to keep with the theme of actually providing useful information about myself, but with this poster I wanted to let my natural humor shine through. I wanted to market myself almost as if I was a product; a few have said it makes a wonderful critique of capitalism, but it really isn't that deep.

I really love unusual display fonts, and I wanted to make sure to use at least one in this project. Yet again, it features some elements of my logo in the center, but instead the constellations form a "C" for Connor.
