Peitil Logotype. Peitil was a faux brand created during my CalArts program for my Branding class. The idea is a beauty brand that creates powder-based cosmetics from dried flowers, recycling them from events such as weddings, parties, floral shows, etc.
Pressed Florals was to be the first eyeshadow release from Peitil. The name was designed to reinforce the idea that the shadows were made from 100% organic plant material, with no synthetic dyes or pigments.
This logo/logotype were to be used where the original logotype wasn’t feasible, i.e. in black and white pubilcations, as a letterhead, etc.
This page was to display all the potential fonts considered for the logotype. Quinllyk regular was decided on for the logotype, with Remboy and Recoleta being used as secondary fonts within the branding guidelines.
This mark served as an additional secondary logo, to be used as a branding mark on the packaging of some products, as seen in the blush compact on later pages.
Used as the second launch from Peitil, the blushes were created to suit all skin tones and again, were to be made from 100% plant material. The embossed logo on the blush reinforces the brand even once the outer packaging is discarded.
